Managing Spam Settings
Manging EscapeNet's spam settings is simple and easy, allowing you to control the level of your filtering and check any e-mail that has been quarantined to ensure it's not from someone you know.
How to change the EscapeNet filtering
You can change the level of filtering by going to the MyAccount section on our website, then choosing Email Functions then Spam Control. Once you have logged in with your details you should then be in the EscapeNet Spam Control Centre; from there you can choose your spam protection level.
Turning the spam filter off
The Filtering can also be turned off in the Spam Control Centre by selecting Off.
How can I check to see if any legitimate emails have been accidently captured by the spam filter?
When an e-mail gets filtered out by our spam filter, it is placed into your Quarantine Box. Your Quarantine Box can also be accessed in the Email Function Centre, Just click on Quarantined Mail and select Check Your Quarantine. Just remember that the e-mails are only kept on there for 7 days so be sure to check it once in a while.
If you find an e-mail that is legitimate, you can select that particular e-mail and than choose Release Email at the top which will automatically place it into your inbox.
