Issue: Fibre Break

There is a problem with the CSA in Maitland, NSW that is affecting connectivity for users in the area.  A fault has been logged and information will be updated as it becomes available.  We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience while the issue is being investigated.

07:30am 09/06/2025 Update: Fibre team has confirmed repair works have been completed. All associated alarms have cleared. Kindly check your service

05:50am 09/06/2025 Update: Service technicians have advised: One end splicing completed, other end splicing to start soon

4:09am 09/06/2025 Update: Service technicians have advised that one end of the cable hauling has now been completed and will commence splicing. A tentative ETR has been provided to be 8am -9am AEST subject to current weather conditions.

12:00am 09/06/2025 Update: Technicians have identified rainwater to be located in the manhole; current action plan is to pump the rainwater out. Technicians are on site at Hexham and have commenced work. At this stage no ETA has been provided. We will continue to provide information as it becomes available to us.

10:15pm Update: Field team have located the fibre break to be 8KM from Beresfield and are currently assessing the damage. A restoration action plan will be advised after the full assessment.
