Purpose of Maintenance: Firmware upgrade of network node pe2-ndcs1.
An interruption of approximately 30 minutes will be noticeable throughout the planned window as we undertake the programmed works. NBN services will notice 2x10 minute outages as they fail over to a backup site and then re-home on completion of the works. If services have not restored after the outage, please try power cycling your router (do not factory reset) and waiting a few minutes.

Issue: Aerial Fibre Break in Thomastown VIC
Upstream provider has identified a fibre break in Thomastown Victoria caused a
motor vehicle accident.
20:17 UPDATE: Upstream field and network
teams confirmed all completion of fibre splicing. All impacted services are
stable and alarm free after the repair completion. This outage is now resolved.

17:09 UPDATE: Field team has advised remediation works are still ongoing. Fibre splicing has commenced and services are expected to gradually restore. Due to multiple bearers impacted they are expecting completion by 21:00 AEST. Your continued patience is appreciated.
14:00 UPDATE: The power pole has been successfully replaced. The fibre team is now on-site and has commenced preparing the fibre cables for restoration. We will continue to keep you informed as progress is made. Thank you for your patience.
11:00am UPDATE: The power pole replacement in Thomastown, Victoria, is experiencing delays due to highway traffic affecting site access. The fibre crew is ready to begin repairs as soon as the utility work is completed.
