What is an ADSL filter?
An ADSL filter is fitted to your telephone devices and protects your internet service from cross over frequencies which may cause drop outs.
All devices plugged into a phone line must be filtered including Foxtel IQ boxes, telephones, fax and answering machines.
It is important to note that devices like burglar alarms which are hard wired into the phone line, require an Austel approved cabler to install a central filter.
