Internet Connection Firewalls & Filtering

Firewalls are activated by default on home internet plans to enhance protection of your network and devices.

How am I affected?
Generally users are unaffected, in most cases the firewall will simply serve as an extra level of protection in addition to any other methods you are using to keep your connection/network secure.
Why is my access blocked?
Access is blocked to ports that are commonly used for remote attacks, thus providing a level of protection to the end user. In the most part the ports that are blocked are never used for legitimate traffic.
I understand the security risks and would like unfiltered internet access.
Filtering can be turned off through My Account on our website.
How I do disable or edit the Firewall?
The Firewall rules are not editable however you can disable the firewall in My Account.
