TP-Link NBN-FTTN VDSL Quick Setup Guide

This guide is written for NBN Fibre to the Node (FttN) and Basement (FttB) services. For services with an NTD, such as Fibre to the Premises (FttP)/Curb (FttC), HFC and Wireless find the connection guide click here.

To get the best performance from your EscapeNet internet service it's important your router or home gateway device is connected correctly.


Open A Web Browser

Open the web browser and type the IP address of the device in the address bar (default is 192.168.1.1; you can check it on the bottom label of the device). Press Enter.

Type the username and password in the login page, the default username and password are both admin. Click OK to log in to the device.


Operation Mode

In the left-sidebar menu, selection Operation Mode -> DSL Modem Router Mode. The router will reboot momentarily.


Add A Connection

Once rebooted, go to Network -> WAN Settings, select Add New.


Internet Settings

wan dynamic IP

Select DSL Modulation Type VDSL. Then WAN Service Setup to Dynamic IP, ensure 'Enable IPv4' is enabled and press Save.

Your router is now correctly configured and you should have internet acess.
